SAL Risk Group can provide airport management with a confidential evaluation of the effectiveness of their security operation and assess their compliance with domestic and international standards. Our "Security Health Checks" cover all areas of an operation including current procedures, the use of manpower, staff training and emergency response capability.

Our consultants are initially shown around the site and once provided with the appropriate passes, conduct their assessment unaccompanied over a pre-determined period of time. The Health Check normally includes passenger terminals, cargo facilities, catering facilities, the perimeter, car parks, public areas, fuel farms and restricted zones including runways and air traffic control towers.

The average Health Check requires four days to conduct, is carried out by two consultants and is conducted around-the-clock rather than simply between 9-5.

The Check concludes with an initial presentation given by the consultants  to senior management. Within fifteen working days from the initial presentation, a formal report is submitted  detailing the team's conclusions.
